Description

Cyberducks blew up the Sacred Tree for mercantile purposes! Use your blooming powers of wise beaver to fly to the rescue and get your wood back! Fast And Beaver is a pretty-but-tough endless runner made for mobile with Unity. With a single touch, master the art of avoiding robotic ducks and pollution both underwater and in the air. Swipe to unleash devastating super attacks and progress further to gather more woods and face stronger opponents!

History

In summer 2014, we had a lot of great projects in mind and (most of) the skillset required to execute them but we lacked funding and visibility. Before dropping our jobs and jumping wildly in the indie bandwagon, we decided to prove ourselves by designing, developing and publishing a nice game from start to finish. The point was to make mistakes in a garage-game context, allowing us to experiment with different solutions and improve on our processes without external pressure. We met twice a month for what we called Beaver Jam: a morning of brainstorm around a home-made brunch followed by quick iteration or prototyping on the decisions taken earlier. Before the next Beaver Jam, we improved and polished the new content. Because we could, we made the game bigger and deeper than what we initially aimed for. We built balancing tools, created a multi-layered monetization system, experimented with SpriteMesh animations, etc... Despite several hiatus (career, visa, parenting...) we did not give up and we released "Fast And Beaver" in summer 2018 on both iOS and Android.
